for Mario Andretti driving for Lotus, 
2nd place for Ligier Matra driver 
Jacques Laffite and 3rd was for the 
reigning World Champion James Hunt
in his Mc Laren Ford...

but from 4th Niki Lauda after the engine
blow from Andretti, after a long battle 
swopping places betweet the top 4, 
also Hunt collided, Lauda passed Laffite
for the lead and won the race in his Ferrari
312T2 race car...
